What are License Verifications?

The Verifications tab will allow the Administrator to log verification of licenses or certifications for a provider.
The Verifications shown are based on the configuration made in the Locations tab > mt | credentialing.

What are the 2 Verifications the mt credentialing system adds by default?

Note: The verifications above added by default are just templates, you will need to initiate the upload for verifications for each of the items.

How do I add a License Verification to a Provider Profile?

Step 1: Log in at MedTrainer 

Step 2: Select MT Credentialing > Provider Profile
Step 3: Select the Provider you wish to access 

Step 4: Select the Verifications tab

Step 5: Select New Verification

Step 6: Select the Verification Type drop down 

Step 7: You will be redirected to a new page. Fill in the fields that pertain to the License.
Step 8: Select Save

How to mark a verification as Not Applicable?

Step 1: Log in at MedTrainer 

Step 2: Select MT Credentialing > Provider Profile 

Step 3: Select Provider you wish to access 

Step 4: Select the Verifications tab

Step 5: Find the item under Verification Type then select the Not Applicable toggle
(Blue and white toggle under Actions)

Step 6: Select Okay

How do I generate a report of the data in the Verifications Tab?

Step 1: Log in at MedTrainer 

Step 2: Select MT Credentialing > Provider Profile 

Step 3: Select Provider you wish to access

Does MedTrainer have an automation to verify the Provider's DEA License and NPI Verification?

Yes. MedTrainer has an automation with the DEA and NPI to verify your Providers License.

Does MedTrainer have an automation to verify the Providers State License?

No.

What is the DEA?

The mission of the Drug Enforcement Administration (DEA) is to ensure the safety and health of American communities by combating criminal drug networks bringing harm, violence, overdoses, and poisonings to the United States. 

Does MedTrainer have an integration with the DEA to verify a Providers license?

Yes. The MedTrainer Credentialing module has the option to verify the DEA automatically or Manually.

Our automated process allows you to retrieve the DEA verification registration or both the DEA verification registration and the DEA Certificate.

How do I manually verify a DEA License?

Step 1: Log into medtrainer 
Step 2: Select mt | credentialing, then select Provider Profile
Step 3: Select the provider's profile (employee profile) you wish to access
Step 4: Select the Verifications tab
Step 5: You will see the DEA License in the main table; then, under the Actions column, select the verify

 option.
Step 6: Select the manual verification option
Step 7: Enter the DEA information and upload the documents; the required fields are indicated with an asterisk (*).
Step 8: When you’re finished, you can see the verification information in the Verification Table and in "Document tab," the documents uploaded. 

How do I automate and verify a DEA License?

The DEA automation lets you pull the DEA information and documents with a single click.
The process may take a couple of seconds, so in the meantime, you can go to another profile and run another DEA verification. 

Step 1: Log into medtrainer 
Step 2: Select mt | credentialing, then select Provider Profile
Step 3: Select the provider's profile (employee profile) you wish to access
Step 4: Select the Verifications tab
Step 5: You will see the DEA License in the main table; then, under the Actions column, select the verify

 option.
Step 6: Enter the Provider DEA number and click the Retrieve Verification Only button.  
Step 7: The system will notify you when the process is finished by displaying a banner in the provider Verification Tab and the Admin dashboard in the mt | credentialing module
Step 8: When the retrieving process is finished, you will see the DEA information and the DEA Verification Registration; once you review the information, select the Verify button.  
Step 9: When you're finish, you can see the verification information in the verification table and in Provider Document tab, the documents retrieved. 

How do I retrieve the DEA Verification Registration and my DEA Certificate?
