What are Provider Profiles?

The Provider Profile dashboard is the most essential dashboard within MT Credentialing. It allows us to enable, view, and access all Provider Profiles. Provider Profiles house all credentialing related activities and documentation to be logged and performed within the MedTrainer platform. 

How do I access a full list of all my Providers that are either active, inactive, and terminated?

If you wish to access a full list of all employees (Providers) with enabled profiles or profiles that can be enabled you will need to select mt | credentialing > provider profile.

How to enable a Provider Profile?

Step 1: Log in at MedTrainer 

Step 2: Select MT Credentialing > Provider Profile

Step 3: Go to the Not Enable tab

Step 4: Find the Provider you wish to enable, then select the Activate button

Step 5: Select the primary Location where the provider belongs

Step 6: Select Save

How to disable a Provider Profile?

Step 1: Log in at MedTrainer 

Step 2: Select MT Credentialing > Provider Profile

Step 3: Go to the Active Profiles tab

Step 4: Find the Provider you wish to disable, then select the disable button

Step 5: Select the Accept button

How to terminate a provider?

A provider profile can be terminated via the Employee Center if the user is no longer employed at the organization or via the Provider Profile if the user is still employed but no longer requires the MT Credentialing functionality. 

How do I download files from a terminated employee?

Step 1: Log in at MedTrainer 

Step 2: Select MT Credentialing > Provider Profile

Step 3: Go to the Terminated tab

Step 4: Find the Provider you wish to download files for

Step 5: Select the download files button

What is the purpose of the dashboard tab in the Provider Profile?

The Provider Profile dashboard will show the overall status of verifications, enrollments, and documents that have been logged for the selected provider.

Information Tab in Provider Profile.

What is the purpose of the Information tab in the Provider Profile?

The Information tab will allow the administrator to log all information related to as a provider as well as give the administrator the ability to request that the provider fill out the information digitally through their MT Account and send it back for verification to the administrator.

Can I export a report of the information given in the Information tab?

Yes. In the Information Tab of the Provider's Profile, there is an button titled, Export Report, where the system will generate a report (PDF File) of the data given.

CAQH in the Information Tab.

What is CAQH?

Council for Affordable Quality Healthcare, Inc. (CAQH) is a non-profit organization that created a database for providers to store their credentialing information. It is the closest thing the healthcare industry has to a centralized place for providers to store the information needed for credentialing.

Does MedTrainer offer a CAQH automation? 

MedTrainer’s CAQH Import feature allows you to import provider information from CAQH in 30 seconds or less, saving time and effort by reducing the need for manual data entry.

What information is imported from CAQH to MedTrainer?


No documents will be imported, only data fields. 

The import replaces any information already in the associated fields in MedTrainer.

How do I import Provider Data from CAQH to MedTrainer?

Step 1: Select mt | credentialing > select provider profile tab
Step 2: Select the provider's profile you wish to access
Step 3: Select the information tab then Third-Party logins tab on the left
Step 4: Enter the CAQH username & password
Step 5: Select save
Step 6: Select the Import from CAQH button on the top-right.

Will I be able to import credentialing information for Dental Providers?

Dental Providers will not be supported because their information must be accessed in the ADA Portal. 

How does one indicate the Provider is in Dental in the MedTrainer Platform? 

Through the NUCC Grouping and Provider Type Field.
Step 1: Select mt | credentialing > select provider profile tab
Step 2: Select the provider's profile you wish to access
Step 3: Select the information tab, then the Personal information tab on the left
Step 4: In the data field, enter the information that pertains to the dental provider Provider Type field.
Step 5: Select the Specialty tab on the left
Step 6: In the data field, enter the information that pertains to the dental provider NUCC Grouping field.
