What are Provider Profiles?
Provider Profiles house and allow for all credentialing related activities and documentation to be logged and performed within the MedTrainer platform.

How to active a Provider Profile?
Step 1: Log in at MedTrainer
Step 2: Select MT Credentialing
Step 3: Select Provider Profile
Step 4: Go to the Not Enable tab
Step 5: Select the Activate button
Step 6: Select the primary Location where the provider belongs
Step 7: Select Self-Managed
Step 8: Select Save
How to terminate a provider?
A provider profile can be terminated via the Employee Center if the user is no longer employed at the organization or via the Provider Profile if the user is still employed but no longer requires the MT Credentialing functionality.
Step 1: Log in at MedTrainer
Step 2: Select MT Credentialing
Step 3: Select Provider Profile
Step 4: Select the Disable button
Step 5: Select Accept
How to use the Provider Profile Dashboard?
The provider profile dashboard will show the overall status of verifications, enrollments, and documents that have been logged for the selected provider.
How to add an Enrollment to a provider?
Enrollments also known as Payors and Insurances will allow logs and tasks to be configured to track the progress of enrolling a provider with a payor.
Step 1: Log in at MedTrainer
Step 2: Select MT Credentialing
Step 3: Select Provider Profile
Step 4: Select the Enrollments tab
Step 5: Select Start New Process
Step 6: Select the Location that is associated with the desired Enrollment to be added
Step 7: Select the Insurance to be added, you will see the Insurance is highlighted once selected.
Step 8: Select the desired Process List option (recommended when beginning an enrollment is New Enrollment)
Step 9: Select Continue
Note: If an Enrollment is not available please ensure that the Enrollment has been added to the Location.
How to add a License Verification to a Provider Profile?
Step 1: Log in at MedTrainer
Step 2: Select mt | credentialing > select provider profile tab
Step 3: Select the provider's profile you wish to access
Step 4: Select the Verifications tab
Step 5: Select New Verification button and choose the Verification Type that you want to add.
Step 6: Input the appropriate information
Step 7: Select Save
How to upload a document?
Documents can be uploaded by the administrators that have access to the provider profile.
Step 1: Log in at MedTrainer
Step 2: Select MT Credentialing
Step 3: Select Provider Profile
Step 4: Select the Documents tab
Step 5: Select the Upload document button to the right of the document.
Step 6: Attach the document file and input the document due dates
Step 7: Select Upload Document

CAQH
What is CAQH?
Council for Affordable Quality Healthcare, Inc. (CAQH) is a non-profit organization that created a database for providers to store their credentialing information. It is the closest thing the healthcare industry has to a centralized place for providers to store the information needed for credentialing.
Does MedTrainer offer a CAQH automation?
MedTrainer’s CAQH Import feature allows you to import provider information from CAQH in 30 seconds or less, saving time and effort by reducing the need for manual data entry.

No documents will be imported, only data fields.
The import replaces any information already in the associated fields in MedTrainer.
How do I import Provider Data from CAQH to MedTrainer?
Step 1: Select mt | credentialing > select provider profile tab
Step 2: Select the provider's profile you wish to access
Step 3: Select the information tab then Third-Party logins tab on the left
Step 4: Enter the CAQH username & password
Step 5: Select save
Step 6: Select the Import from CAQH button on the top-right.
Will I be able to import credentialing information for Dental Providers?
Dental Providers will not be supported because their information must be accessed in the ADA Portal.
How does one indicate the Provider is in Dental in the MedTrainer Platform?
Through the NUCC Grouping and Provider Type Field.
Step 1: Select mt | credentialing > select provider profile tab
Step 2: Select the provider's profile you wish to access
Step 3: Select the information tab, then the Personal information tab on the left
Step 4: In the data field, enter the information that pertains to the dental provider Provider Type field.
Step 5: Select the Specialty tab on the left
Step 6: In the data field, enter the information that pertains to the dental provider NUCC Grouping field.
