Who has access to the My Student Dashboard?

All account levels: Super Admins., Admins., and Student levels will have access to the My Student Dashboard.

Student access level users will only be able to view the information provided in the My Student Dashboard, the Binders included in it, and the Learning Module (if purchased). 

Courses

How can a student revist a course?

Students are unable to revisit course(s) they have already completed. The course will have to be reassigned in order for you to see its information again. Please contact your CSM if you wish to retake the same course.

Transcripts & External Transcripts

What are MedTrainer Transcripts? 

MedTrainer transcripts are certificates of completed courses the user has taken.

How does one retrieve a MedTrainer transcript? 

Step 1: Log in at MedTrainer  

Step 2: Visit the "My Student Dashboard" tab

Step 3: Scroll down until you see the "My Transcripts" section, and select the tab that says "MedTrainer Transcripts"

Step 4: Find the course you'd like to retrieve/print transcript, and then select the print icon

Step 5: A PDF file of the transcript will download - open files to view and save

Can a user reassign themselves a course? If so, how is it done? 

Step 1: Log in at MedTrainer  

Step 2: Visit the "My Student Dashboard" tab

Step 3: Scroll down until you see the "My Transcripts" section, and select the tab that says "MedTrainer Transcripts"

Step 4: Find the course you'd like to reassign, then select the arrow button.

Step 5: Select the due date and click continue, following that confirm and select the reassign button in green

What are external transcripts? 

These transcripts are credentials that come from the Live Calendar module or were manually uploaded and belong to entities outside of MedTrainer. 

How is an external transcript uploaded? 

Visit the "My Transcripts" section, click on the "External transcripts, credentials, licenses, vaccinations, and immunizations tab, click on the "paper/pencil" icon, update transcript, and if needed, you may upload a new transcript.

How is an external transcript retrieved? 

Visit the "My Transcripts" section, click on the "External transcripts, credentials, licenses, vaccinations, and immunizations tab, click on the "arrow pointing down" button to download

How is an external transcript deleted? 

Visit the "My Transcripts" section, click on the "External transcripts, credentials, licenses,, vaccinations, and immunizations tab, click on the "X" icon to delete. 

How does one renew their license on an expired transcript?

Please change the date directly on your student dashboard, and follow the steps below:

Step 1: Log in at MedTrainer  

Step 2: Scroll down until you see “my transcripts” section

Step 3: Click External Transcripts, Credentials, Licenses, Vaccinations, Immunizations”

Step 4: Once you have looked for the transcript, on the right of your screen, underneath “actions”, click on the edit button.

Step 5: Change the date  

SDS Binder

Where can student-level users view an SDS sheet? 

Students can view an SDS sheet in the SDS Binder section. SDS Sheets can be downloaded by clicking on the "Download"(arrow point downward) icon.

Documents & Policies Binder

What type of documents and policies are contained in the MT Binder? 

In the documents and policies section, you will find documents such as contracts, manuals, forms, and etc. 

How are documents or policies downloaded? 

Step 1: Log in at MedTrainer 

Step 2: Visit the "My Student Dashboard" tab

Step 3: Scroll down until you see the "Documents & Policies Binder" section. Select the folder of doc/policy you wish to view.

Step 4: Find the item you wish to view, and click on the "arrow pointing down" button to download

Note: The "eye" icon will also allow you to download, print, or view

What is the purpose of the "+" sign icon? 

The "+" sign icon will share previous versions of the document/policy.

Safety Plans Binder 

How are safety plans downloaded?

Visit the "My Student Dashboard" tab, and scroll until you see the safety plans binder section. Find the item you wish to download, and then select the "arrow pointing down" button to download.

Notifications 

What is the purpose of notifications? 

Notifications will allow you to be notified of any new items assigned or expiring.
