OSHA Toolkit

What is OSHA, and what is the purpose of creating an OSHA Report? 

The Occupational Safety and Health Administration (OSHA) requires employers that have 25 or more employees to report work-related injuries and illnesses and to calculate the work hours lost due to these injuries and illnesses every year from February 1 to April 30. Current and former employees, or their representatives, have the right to access injury and illness records. Employers must give the requester a copy of the relevant record(s) by the end of the next business day.

Under the new recordkeeping guidelines published by OSHA many Medical, Dental, Laboratory and other healthcare facilities may be exempt from some or all recordkeeping requirements.

Does MedTrainer have readily available template forms for OSHA, if so, what are they?

Yes. MedTrainer currently offers the OSHA inspection form, OSHA Form 300, OSHA Form 300-A, and OSHA Form 301. 

How does one access the OSHA toolkit?

Step 1: Log in at MedTrainer

Step 2: On the left hand column, select "OSHA Toolkit"

Step 3: Select the appropriate template and click "create"

Step 4: Fill in the fields. Click on the "add more lines" button if more information is needed

Step 5: When you are done, click on the "submit form" button

Can organizations upload their own report?

Yes. Click on the "upload report" button, enter the required fields, and upload the file. When you are done, select the "save"  button.

HIPAA Toolkit

What is HIPAA? 

The Health Insurance Portability and Accountability Act is a federal law that required the creation of national standards to protect sensitive patient health information from being disclosed without the patient's consent or knowledge. 

Does MedTrainer have readily available template forms for HIPAA, if so, what are they?

Yes. MedTrainer offers the HIPAA Incident Report, HIPAA Compliance Agreement, and the Business Associate Agreement form. 

How does one access the HIPAA toolkit?
