What are Provider Profiles?
Provider Profiles house and allow for all credentialing related activities and documentation to be logged and performed within the MedTrainer platform.
How to active a Provider Profile?
Step 1: Log in at MedTrainer
Step 2: Select MT Credentialing
Step 3: Select Provider Profile
Step 4: Select the Activate button
Step 5: Select the primary Location where the provider belongs
Step 6: Select Self-Managed
Step 7: Select Save
How to terminate a provider?
A provider profile can be terminated via the Employee Center if the user is no longer employed at the organization or via the Provider Profile if the user is still employed but no longer requires the MT Credentialing functionality.
Step 1: Log in at MedTrainer
Step 2: Select MT Credentialing
Step 3: Select Provider Profile
Step 4: Select the Terminate button
Step 5: Select Save
How to activate a location as a Credentialing location?
A Provider Profile becomes available to active when a location has MT Credentialing enabled via Organization Management.
Step 1: Log in at MedTrainer
Step 2: Select Organization Management
Step 3: Select Locations
Step 4: Select the Edit button
Step 5: Select QuickCred checkbox
Step 6: Select Save
How to terminate a Credentialing location?
A location that has credentialing enabled can only be deleted once the users associated with the location are all terminated or all moved to a different location.
Step 1: Log in at MedTrainer
Step 2: Select Organization Management
Step 3: Select Locations
Step 4: Select the Delete button
Step 5: Select Yes
How to add enrollment to a location?
Before Enrollments are available to be attached to a Provider Profile the location must first be configured to contain the desired Payors.
Step 1: Log in at MedTrainer
Step 2: Select MT Credentialing
Step 3: Select Locations
Step 4: Select the Name of the payor
Step 5: Select Insurance Setup
Step 6: Select the desired enrollments on the left
Step 7: Select Save

How to add verifications to a location?
Before Verifications are available to be attached to a Provider Profile the location must first be configured to contain the desired verifications.
Step 1: Log in at MedTrainer
Step 2: Select MT Credentialing
Step 3: Select Locations
Step 4: Select the Name of the Location
Step 5: Select Verifications
Step 6: Select New Verification
Step 7: Select the desired license or New License if the disred license is not visible
Step 8: Select Save
Note: Once a verification is added to a location any Provider Profiles associated with that location will have the added verifications added to their profile automatically.
How to add mandatory documents to a location?
Before Mandatory Documents are available to be attached to a Provider Profile the location must first be configured to contain the desired documents.
Step 1: Log in at MedTrainer
Step 2: Select MT Credentialing
Step 3: Select Locations
Step 4: Select the Name of the Location
Step 5: Select Mandatory Documents
Step 6: Select Add Document
Step 7: Select Add to the right of the desired document
Note: If a Document is not available please contact support@medtariner.com for assistance.
How to assign a location to a provider?
If additional locations are required for a Provider Profile they may be added through the provider profile.
Step 1: Log in at MedTrainer
Step 2: Select MT Credentialing
Step 3: Select Provider Profile
Step 4: Select the Location Setup tab
Step 5: Select Add to the right of the desired location to be added
Step 6: Select Save
Note: If a Location is not found please ensure it is enabled as a credentialing organization in Organization Management.
How to assign a enrollment to a provider?
Enrollments also known as Payors and Insurances will allow logs and tasks to be configured to track the progress of enrolling a provider with a payor.
Step 1: Log in at MedTrainer
Step 2: Select MT Credentialing
Step 3: Select Provider Profile
Step 4: Select the Enrollments tab
Step 5: Select Start New Process
Step 6: Select the Location that is associated with the desired Enrollment to be added
Step 7: Select the Insurance to be added, you will see the Insurance is highlighted once selected.
Step 8: Select the desired Process List option (recommended when beginning an enrollment is New Enrollment)
Step 9: Select Continue
Note: If an Enrollment is not available please ensure that the Enrollment has been added to the Location.
How to assign a verification to a provider?
If verifications are required for a Provider Profile they may be added through the provider profile.
Step 1: Log in at MedTrainer
Step 2: Select MT Credentialing
Step 3: Select Provider Profile
Step 4: Select the Verifications tab
Step 5: Select Add New Verification button
Step 6: Select the desired verification or configure a new verification.
Note: Verifications can also be configured for all providers at the same time within the Location setup.
How to assign a document to a provider?
If verifications are required for a Provider Profile they may be added through the provider profile.
Step 1: Log in at MedTrainer
Step 2: Select MT Credentialing
Step 3: Select Provider Profile
Step 4: Select the Documents tab
Step 5: Select Add New Document button
Step 6: Select the desired document to be added to the profile.
Note: Documents can also be configured for all providers at the same time within the Location setup.
How to add privileges?
Privileges must be requested via the account Customer Success Manager or via support@medtrainer.com.
